The autonomy page with the tenant ceiling at L2 and each agent's level per action
Autonomy (illustrative). The tenant ceiling at L2 ask first, the four levels, and each agent's action with its level and the evidence that would move it.

Every agent action has a level. In InsightDealDesk the five actions that change a placement — sending a submission, approaching markets, selecting a quote, accepting a binder, signing off — are capped at ask-first, whatever anyone sets on the dial.

Four levels

LevelMeaning
L1 DraftThe agent prepares a draft; a person does the work. Where every action starts.
L2 Ask firstThe agent prepares the decision and asks a person before it acts. The default tenant ceiling.
L3 Act and tellActs, tells the person, and lets them pull it back. Locked here.
L4 ActActs on its own. Locked here.

Evidence moves the dial

Every answer to a prepared decision — accept, change, reject — is feedback for that agent and action. An agent is recommended for promotion when people agree with at least 90% of its last 50 answers, and demoted at once below 70% of 20. A practice leader accepts a recommendation; nothing moves on its own. In this product the cap means a promotion can take an action from L1 to L2, never past it.

Agent activity: steps, decisions prepared, answered and waiting
Agent activity (illustrative). Every agent step on the book, what was prepared, answered and what is waiting on a broker.

Why the cap

Each capped action commits the client or the brokerage: a submission discloses information to a market, a selection commits an underwriting fee, a binder becomes the policy. Those stay a broker’s decision. The agents make each one faster to take, not automatic.
